Kevin Galiano

Kevin, the visionary founder of Joga Soccer Academy, embarked on his soccer journey at the age of 4, igniting a passion that has driven him to become an accomplished player and dedicated coach. Throughout his high school years at Meridian, Kevin's exceptional skills earned him the MVP title, setting the stage for his future success. His talent shone brightly with WFC Rangers, where he not only excelled on the field but also secured a place among the state's Top 11 players. Kevin's journey continued at Crossfire Academy, a stepping stone that led him to Northern Illinois University, where he competed at the Division 1 level. His team’s impressive performance, ranking 16th nationally and advancing to the second round of the national championship, highlighted his commitment to excellence and teamwork. Recently, Kevin has made his mark with Ballard FC, contributing to their 2023 USL League Two National Championship victory. As the driving force behind Joga Soccer Academy, Kevin now channels his extensive experience and deep passion for the game into personalized training programs. He is dedicated to guiding aspiring players on their own transformative soccer journeys, helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their dreams, just as he did.

Our Process

Step 1: Evaluation Session

We assess your current skill level.

The first session is an introductory assessment where we evaluate the player's technical skills, fitness, agility, speed, cognitive ability, and game understanding. Afterward, the player and parent will receive an evaluation sheet outlining strengths, weaknesses, and the coach's feedback on each skillset.

Step 2: Custom Plan

A program tailored to you

After the first session, we rank each player's skillsets and provide an overall ranking. This helps us create a personalized plan tailored to their strengths and weaknesses. The custom curriculum focuses on technical skills, physical ability, shooting, defending, positional tasks, cognitive training, and speed & agility, while also boosting confidence.

Step 3: Move Up the Ranks

Leveling up regularly

As players complete their curriculum, they'll be assessed for advancement. Reaching Gold in 80% of skillsets earns them 'Joga Elite' status, signifying mastery of technical, cognitive, and physical abilities. Joga Elite players unlock exclusive perks, including elite training with top coaches, special gear, and priority access to Elite Soccer Camps, with more perks to come.
